Could LeBron James' whole $10 tip on an $800 meal incident be just a big misunderstanding?
The owner of the XO Prime Steaks, where the whole stingy scene went down, has issued the following statement:
For the record, XO would like to clear up a misunderstanding resulting from a story that appeared in the Cleveland Scene on May 7th...Upon completion of his meal, Mr. James paid his bill with a credit card. Our waiter mistakenly read the receipt, inferring that Mr. James had left him only a $10 tip. To clear up the misunderstanding, Mr. James arranged for an appropriate tip to be delivered to the restaurant for the waiter.

All celebrities talk out of their ass -- but Shaquille O'Neal is taking it too far.

In a video from TheDirty.com, Shaq was horsing around in a recording studio when he decided to drop trow. Guess his singing is s***.

Cleveland Cavalier LeBron James recently dined at Cleveland's XO Prime Steaks where he ate like a king, but tipped like a servant.
According to Cleveland Scene, LeBron and a few friends stopped by the restaurant for a late night bite. The group stayed well past closing time, until nearly 4:00 AM, ordering drinks and racking up an $800 bill. When it came time to pay up, LeBron allegedly left a measly $10 tip. Brick!
Maybe LeBron should take a lesson in tipping from Barack Obama.
Calls to LeBron's rep were not returned.

Joe Montana's softer side was sought out by NFL defenses for years -- turns out his ex-wife just sold it to the highest bidder ... in the form of old college love letters!

The former 49ers quarterback is suing his first wife, Kim Moses, and a Texas auction house for selling love letters and memorabilia from his time at the University of Notre Dame. The other items include Joe's freshman I.D. card, a University of Notre Dame letter of intent and Joe and Kim's 1979 marriage certificate.
Joe is suing in excess of $75,000 -- claiming the items were obtained and sold by Moses without his consent.

Oscar De La Hoya dominated in the ring against Steve Forbes -- but former boxer/failed talk show host Tony Danza wasn't impressed.
Not a great idea to belittle "The Golden Boy" too much Tony, or he'll really show you who's the boss.

Our photog actually had the stones to ask Gisele what it's like to make 3x more moolah than her BF -- but our guy's math was waaaaaaay off.
According to Forbes, the supermodel takes in $35 million, whereas Brady's salary cap figure with the Patriots is $14.7 mil. Of course, those figures don't take Tom's endorsements -- which hovered around $9 mil for 2007 -- into account.
Also not included: Whatever Gisele pays him to be her errand boy.

With the NFL season inching closer, New England Patriots stallion Randy Moss got a late-night workout with one helluva tight end at a Kentucky Derby party over the weekend.
But the chick bending over and taking a hike isn't just some random skeezer -- that's Miss Kentucky USA he's playin' with!
Gotta love that work ethic.

Cedric Benson, a running back for the Chicago Bears, was popped late last night for DBB -- driving a boat while blasted.
Bensen was arrested by the Lower Colorado River Authority near Austin, TX, after failing a sobriety float test. He was so out of control, cops say he had to be pepper sprayed.
He refused to put a life jacket on and also refused a follow-up test once he was landlubbin'.
He was booked and bailed out early Sunday morning.

We caught up with Dennis Rodman's alleged abuse victim Gigi Peterson last night, and while she wouldn't slam Dennis, she had plenty of spit and fire for her ex-husband, who, as TMZ first reported, took out a restraining order against her.
When speaking of the Rodman incident, Gigi throws out heroic lines like, "If I had to be the one to go through it to have that be the catalyst [for rehab] ... I'm glad it was me." On the ex-husband front, she says her "maniacal" ex is "full of lies," and that she's appealing the restraining order.
Oh yeah, that busty girl to her right is her daughter.

So Ronaldo -- the Brazilian soccer star who got all ball when he hired what he thought were three female hookers last week -- just got the chop for his little tranny trip.
According to reports from the continent, Italian mobile firm TIM has dropped Ronaldo as a spokesjohn, canceling its $4.8 million contract with him. There's a clause in his contract that lets the company end the deal if he's involved in any bad PR.
Ronaldo, according to cops, had tried to buy off the he-shes. Clearly not nearly enough.

Indianapolis Colts star wideout Marvin Harrison has been interviewed by Philly police in connection with a shooting there this week.
Philadelphia PD confirms that an investigation into the shooting, in which a man was shot in the hand near a garage owned by Harrison, is "continuing" but stressed that they have no suspect yet. Harrison's agent says that he wasn't involved in the shooting and isn't the subject of the po-po's investigation.
A Philly radio station reported earlier today that a weapon used in the incident may have belonged to Harrison.
