"Curb Your Enthusiasm" star Jeff Garlin says he wouldn't be caught dead on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" ... because he says Conan's nemesis "has no character."

During an interview with Jimmy Baron from 92.9 Dave-FM Atlanta this weekend, Garlin -- a long time friend and former roommate of Conan O'Brien -- claims NBC was "stupid" to replace Leno with Conan in the first place ... but says Leno derailed Conan's chances for success by doing the 10 o'clock show.
Garlin goes on to rip Leno by saying he has "no character" -- and says he won't be caught dead on "The Tonight Show" now that Jay is hosting it again.

Team Coco strikes again.

A Conan O'Brien fan posed for a photo with Jay Leno last night with the letters "Coco FTW" written on his hand -- which means "for the win."
Leno got the "Tonight Show" back and Conan got $32.5 million from NBC -- they're both winners.

Andy Richter says he's still an employee of NBC -- but that's not stopping him from dissing the network and Jay Leno for pulling the plug on "The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien."

Richter was on "Live! With Regis and Kelly" today, where ripped into NBC by saying, "Everybody said they were going to do something and they didn't" -- adding that the network was mired by bad planning.
As for Jay, Richter joked "You know how multimillionaires are always being forced to do things they don't want to do ... I've calmed down about it."
Richter also teased a stage tour could happen -- calling it a "distinct possibility."

Howard Stern unleashed the fury all over Jay Leno this morning, brutally tearing into the "Tonight Show" host on a segment for the "CBS Early Show."

One day after Leno returned to late night, CBS asked Stern for his thoughts, which went like this: "The mere mention of Jay Leno's name makes me wanna vomit. I don't like this guy."
Stern, who has a long gestating hatred of the talk show host, also referred to Leno as a "lap dog" and a "thief" ... once again accusing Jay of stealing material from himself, Letterman and even people in England.
Long story short -- don't expect Stern on "The Tonight Show" anytime soon.

Conan O'Brien's face on a mug is no longer available for purchase ... at least from his former network -- because all memorabilia relating to the former "Tonight Show" host has been banished from NBC.com.
But here's the funny part -- it appears NBC was all too anxious to get rid of their CoCo stash ... because the Jay Leno swag they used to replace it still says "The Jay Leno Show" ... which was canceled nearly three weeks ago.
Jay Leno returned as the host of "The Tonight Show" on Monday night.

Conan O'Brien's pal Will Ferrell is in no hurry to make an appearance on "The Tonight Show" once Jay Leno takes back over. In fact, if Leno comes a callin' ... Ferrell said he might conveniently call in sick.

Will made the comments on the Todd N Tyler Radio Empire morning show in Omaha yesterday.
During the interview, they asked Will if he thinks Leno would still have him on the show since he's such a Team Coco kind of guy ... and he said, "I don't know. My vote's with Conan."
But in the case Will actually gets the invite, he said, "I may have a cold ... I may have a sore throat."

Two cop cars were outside Jay Leno's Beverly Hills home yesterday -- and according to Jay, they were there investigating "the murder."

We're told the police are actually there because of filming in the area, which makes more sense ... since the only things Jay's capable of killing are Conan O'Brien's dreams.

Kevin Eubanks -- the longtime bandleader on Jay Leno's "The Tonight Show" -- may leave the show once it re-emerges after the Olympics.

K-EARTH 101 radio in L.A. first reported the story this AM. NBC has confirmed Kevin wants to tour and record and -- although he'll be there for Jay's debut next month -- his long-term prospects on the show are uncertain.

Kanye West sent Jay Leno out with a bang last night ... right on the kisser.

During Leno's final episode before his late night comeback after the Olympics, Donald Trump and Kanye West made appearances -- and the latter got to sucker punch that infamous chin.
No fancy ending ... no display of kids born during his run on this show ... Jay merely ended his primetime run by pitching to the local news.

Jay Leno just permanently turned off the lights to his primetime NBC talk show -- but not before Donald Trump stepped in to officially fire his ass.

TMZ infiltrated the taping of the final "Jay Leno Show" -- where just moments ago, Jay was doing a satellite bit with Donald Trump. At the end of the bit, His Hairness sent Jay on his way the only way he knows how -- "You're Fired!"
We're told everyone laughed -- including Jay.
Wonder what Conan thinks?

Jay Leno and David Letterman have called a ceasefire -- and their Super Bowl ad is to blame.

While talking about filming the spot last night, Jay put the cheap shots aside and said "Whatever happened the last 18 years disappeared, it was great to see my old friend again."

Jay Leno's set is only four months old, but it will undergo a facelift that would raise Heidi Montag's eyebrows -- if that's even possible.

We've learned Leno will stay put in the Burbank facility where he did "The Tonight Show" for 17 years, and "The Jay Leno Show" for 17 minutes. And, sources say, the set will be redone during the Olympics and rolled out for the re-premiere of "The Tonight Show."
As for Conan O'Brien's $50 million studio ... we're told there are no plans yet ... there's a buzz NBC may use the set to shoot TV pilots.

Jay Leno doesn't think what happened to Conan O'Brien was "fair" -- but he also says he's not to blame.

Jay was on "Oprah" this morning, where he said Conan's ratings are the real reason he's gone, citing a 49% drop as proof. Leno added he's glad to have his "dream job" back -- regretting "it wasn't handled better."
FYI -- Jay also said he'd have Conan on as a guest any time. Good luck with that.
