16. When taking prescription medications it is very important to write down what you have taken and when. Many people die everyday from an accidental prescription medication overdose.
I hope the media will stop knocking Heath for his overdose. It was clearly and accident.

17. This has got to stop. Too many people are prescribed medications that can be toxic if taken in the wrong or improper combinations or quantities. There aren't enough warnings or support systems to inform people who are taking these scripts. This type of tragic accident happens every day.
I hope this puts to rest the media feeding frenzy that assumed Heath OD's from heroine, or other illegal substances. Rest in peace, Heath. You will be missed.

18. Did we learn nothing from the death of Anna Nicole or Elvis for that matter. Don't mix perscription drugs it will turn deadly in the end. Such a shame that stars go to an array of MD's that don't confer with one another on what their patients are taking. It could save countless lives. Heath was taken too soon and in such a preventable manner, I hope we all learn from his accident. RIP!

20. Doctors are very "quick" to prescribe any meds these days. So sad that it had to end like this....
Rest In Peace Heath

22. What is it with people always wanting to blame someone else?
Heath is responsible for his own death.
Popping pills like tic-tacs is his own fault. Too bad he didn't know Sam Lutfi then people could blame him for this too, haha.

23. .
That's the society we live in today: Pop a pill, feel better. So sad...

24. How can they rule it accidental and not suicidal? Because he didn't leave a note?
If you are depressed you may not intentionally try to kill yourself with a bunch of pills but that doesn't mean you don't care if you die. Accidental suicide is more like it.

25. It’s sad, of course. But the guy died basically because he’s an idiot. It’s highly unlikely that any doctor ordered him to take all those medication at once. Just because you have them doesn’t mean you should take them – all at the same time. Any young death is tragic. But just because this man was an actor was his death any more tragic than someone else? I don’t get it. It’s terrible for his family. The rest of us will survive. But let this be a lesson to any moron who doesn’t bother to read the warning label on their meds.

27. Didn't someone tell him how and when to take the medications???
The directions come on the bottles! DUH! He knew how to take the drugs. He chose to abuse them.

29. Don't forget this didn't start with Elvis and Anna Nicole, also Marilyn Monroe and a few other celebs have been a part of the abuse of prescribed medication!!

30. I think "unintentional suicide" would be a better description than "accident" although it's all semantics.
