L.C.'s birthday bash was likely ruined when her ~~on screen~~ real life nemesis, Kristin Cavallari, showed up at Goa nightclub where she was partying with Lo -- the drama!

Also in L.A.: "Fantastic Four" hottie Chris Evans showed his New England pride, Pierce Brosnan exclaimed his love of noodles, and DJ Qualls -- who gave his pick for president ... sorta.

In NYC, everyone flocked to a Marc Jacobs party -- including Helena Christensen, Anne Hathaway, Tommy Hilfiger and Allison Janney.
