Jessica Says There's B.S. in OK!

Jessica Simpson is fighting mad about an OK! magazine article about her relationship with Tony Romo -- and she's called in the dogs -- aka, her lawyers.

Jess is pissed over an article titled "Jessica Dumped!" that appeared in the February 4 issue of the mag. The article claims Tony dumped Jessica after his team was eliminated from the NFL playoffs. Simpson's attorneys say the article is "utterly false" and "is based on nothing more than rumor, gossip and innuendo." The article also claims Jessica's sister Ashlee has attempted to "distance herself" from her sis. The lawyers say that's B.S. too.

Simpson's lawyers have sent a letter to OK!'s Editor-in-Chief, Sarah Ivens, claiming OK!'s article is bogus, adding that Jess and Tony are still together and that Ashlee and Jessica remain close. The attorneys say the article reflects a "smear campaign" and has subjected Simpson to "public contempt, ridicule, aversion or disgrace."

The lawyers want OK! to "immediately publish a prominent and unambiguous" retraction.

32. Calling her lawyer because a ragmag said she was dumped by her boyfriend of 1 month? Give me a friggen break, the Simpson's are friggen creepy. Ashlee isn't even a star and never was, so I have no idea why anyone even wants her picture, except for maybe she stole her sisters face (CREEPY) Jessica has dated more guys in hollywood and goes through them faster that a fat man with cake, so what's the big deal if they wrote this article? Who cares, why does she want to make sure everyone knows they're still together? He's a loser for not seeing that Jessica's dad is hording in on her relationship by getting tickets to his game, etc. Also, he's another one that dates around more than most, so who cares if they break up. How on earth could this effect her already non existing career that she needs to call in the lawyers? They need to GROW UP, she should be lucky they even mention her at all, her relationships are the only thing that makes the papers anyway.

34. Wow. She didn't need a magazine article to be subjected to "public contempt, ridicule, aversion or disgrace." I've thought she was pretty ridiculous for years. I pretty much laugh (or sometimes gag) whenever I see her.

35. I think she should sue them, I wouldn't want someone (especially a publication) saying things about me that wern't true. This will be a heads up to other publications that they better be above board and be able to back up their claims.

This entire story is so stupid.. where did this blame Jessica nonsense start.. are Dallas fans that sore of a looser to think that a player in arelatinoship is the reason they lost..C'mon.. it's just plain silly.. jessica is NOT the reason that Dallas lost.. that would be like saying all ball players have to obstain from personal romantic relatinoships and entanglements..

42. Good for Jess. I purchased a subsciption to OK Magazine back last summer. This is when I heard that a pictorial was "exclusive" to their magazine of a layout of first published Official photos of Dannielynn. Then Larry Birkhead denounced the magazine saying their claims were false. However, I had already purchased a subscription. Do you know how hard it is to cancel a magazine subscription? It was after I started getting the mag, that I realized they even use recycled pics of celebrities. I would see pics of celebs that were 3 months old or more, with some half a*& story.

OK Magazine needs to be sued by several celebs and put out of business.
