Charges Dropped Against Shia LaBeouf

Shia LaBeoufTMZ was in a Chicago court today as misdemeanor charges were dropped against "Disturbia" star Shia LaBeouf. Transformed!

Cops arrested LaBeouf last month outside a Walgreens, after workers repeatedly asked him to leave the store because he appeared drunk. When LaBeouf refused, the security guard detained him and called police.

Shia showed up in court this morning to receive the good news -- Walgreens does not want to pursue charges against him. Merry early Christmas!

Shia's attorney tells TMZ the actor is "happy to put this behind him and get back to work ."

34. He is adorable! Glad he isn't in trouble. Everyone makes mistakes and at least this one didn't injure anyone and he wasn't driving drunk or neglecting his kids and not showing up for court, ect... Hope he learns his lesson and gets on with more great acting roles.

36. I recall an interview where he said wasn't going to go out and be seen. His reasoning was he wasn't going to fall into the usual star pitfalls of getting drunk and stupid, if he avoided the spotlight. So much for a good plan. LMAO!

38. I'm glad most people realize this whole Walgreens shiz is bogus. As for his recent "bad behavior," I say, as long as it's within reason, let the poor kid party if he wants to party! Personally I find it a little disappointing, cuz I think he's waaaay too intelligent to hang out with the vapid slutty Hollywood crowd, but hey, he's earned the right to have a little fun if he wants too. He's only 21 freakin years old for chrissakes, and he had a rough childhood, and he's worked his ass off his entire life. Now he finally gets to reap the benefits of all that hard work. If he wants to live it up a little, more power to him. Once he gets a little older and is over the party phase, he'll settle into his role as one of Hollywood's greats.
