Data Does Robertson

Data got himself an upgrade -- the former android looked fully human when TMZ caught him on Robertson Blvd. yesterday.

Brent Spiner, the actor who played the USS Enterprise's robotic Lieutenant Commander on "Star Trek: The Next Generation," was spotted doing some shopping at Surly Girl, a boutique located right across from the Ivy.

Proving that Data really is a higher intellectual life form, Spiner helped a photog with his camera when the dude forgot to take off the lens cap!

15. That face he's making is classic! I'm surprised the paparazzi even still bother him, since TNG has been off the air for like 13 years (and the last film was 5 years ago). But he is an amazing actor and an all around nice guy!

I wonder what he was buying that store, though?
