Mayer to Photog: Show Some Class!

Plenty of people want to know who John Mayer wrote about in "Your Body Is a Wonderland" -- but asking him while he's with his current girlfriend is just bad form.

The Grammy-winning crooner was leaving the Waverly Inn in New York last night with gal pal Minka Kelly, when one photog (not, by the way, a TMZ guy) asked John about the famous song -- then proceeded to sing it. Mayer lashed back at the lensman, "Do you see that I am with a woman? Wow, that's terrible."

That last sentence applies to both the photographer's question -- and his singing.

31. I "get" John's sense of humor. Never have really gotten into his music - except the rif he worked on with Rob Thomas - GREAT! He had a short-lived little show on one of the music channels, I think. He was sooooo freakin' hilarious! I think he is a very, very funny guy with GREAT comedic timing! I completely enjoy watching him talk - much more than I enjoy watching him sing!

33. I totally picture the Icon #20 sitting at his laptop in a Starbucks with his pipe (empty) and courdory jacket with patches on the elbows speaking like Thurston Howell III. I imagine you are as boring as John Mayer.

35. I'm very impressed with the classy way John handled the situation. I personally would have shoved the camera in places that are not a wonderland on that annoying camera man. I don't care how good or bad one thinks of Mr. Mayer that was very distasteful and disrespectful thing to do, not just to John but especially to Minka.
