617. Anyone can THINK of whatever they want -- even if its racial or not.
It's when they ACTon a racial thought -- thats when you hang a person.
Dog didn't call the girl the N word. He did not direct his racial thoughts to her.
He didn't even talk to her. He wasn't even around her.
So now am left with Court TV looking like all other stations. What do I have to watch
them for? Hope the people that paid for the commercials don't get their moneys worth
after losing people watching court TV. With Dog it was DIFFERENT! Now its the same as any other station. BRING BACK DOG!!

618. Put DOG back on the air. Tucker nor his girlfriend shouldn't have any right to file any lawsuit against Dog for slander or anything else. Tucker is the one who wrongfully taped the private conversation. They're the ones who went public with it. If they're so distraught and embarassed, they have no one to blame but themselves. Any person who would sell they're father or any family member out should be ashamed of themselves. This whole situation and the $15,000 bucks Tucker made, makes him look as if he was hardup and needed a load of cash. If dog is such a racist, wouldn't one think it would have come out in the open way before now, instead of after 3 yrs of being on national TV? Wouldn't you think that if any of the Camera crew heard or were offended by such words coming out of dog's mouth, they would have spoken out. I believe 100% that his use of the word, is towards the behavior and stupid choices the people have made. Not because of their race.

619. Sensitivity to words is a sign of weakness. Dog had a private conversation with his son and his son wanted to cash in on dear-old-Dads mistake...pitty! Why is it that white people are the only ones who aren't allowed to be racist ?

620. Let he who is without sin cast the first stone. I, for one, will be going nowhere near that pile of stones. In this P.C crazed world DOG should have know better. But we all have our moments...of anger and frustration. No one's perfect. Being a racist is so much more. DOG does not hold that intensity of hate or rage. Bring him back, lest we forget the good he has done.

621. I think its PATHETIC of A&E to use this as a reason to pull Dog's show! C'mon for one thing I don't hear the word ENTRAPMENT here at all...Gee...Tucker just happened to be taping his phonecall to daddy? Yeah, umm we all do that all the time.

A&E should be backing a family that has shown lack of prejudice in more DIVERSE situations than anyone thats ever been "allowed" to air on T.V. The Chapman family are far from racist and nobody seems to understand a VERY CLEAR message given to his son.....That being sometimes someone in the family may use the "N" word and not at anytime does he say it's said to represent anyone black...Matter of fact he states color has nothing to do with the use of the word.

I personally won't be supporting A&E for screwing the Chapman family over after all the money and ratings they've brought them. Dog's done an awesome job sending and speaking wonderful messages of Gods love, peace and "Say no to the criminal way of life or pay the price like I did." How many people do that in their neighborhood on a single day muchless make it their life?

623. Public or private, it does not matter when or where the offensive words are spoken. What you need to remember is that the words you choose are words that reflect your own character. A paid public platform should not be given to someone who uses words that are known to offend so many people. That Chapman feels that he used the word differently from how the rest of America perceives it (his words) shows just how out of touch he is with reality and the sensitivity of denigrating words.

I had the unfortunate experiences of watching Chapman and two of his co-bandits intimidate people in traffic here in Hawai'i by flashing their bounty hunter IDs and yelling profanities. These are not nice people. They do not represent any aspect of the Aloha that is here.

A&E, take them off the air. You made enough money on them. The TV show made enough money for them. Move on to something new and let them die in the obscurity they so richly deserve.

625. Thanks for your support Chris #617. Facts are facts...public eye or personal, the fact is Chapman & his family have accomplished more good for our country than bad. Being a victim of crime, I am thankful for their work, they have been a blessing to our country getting the fugitives off the streets! Chapman states he is a Christian...remember we aren't perfect, just forgiven. God helps those that help themselves, Chapman has come along way, and will continue to make diferences in lives daily regardless of A&E broadcasting! Even if they come across as intimidating in public as #616 posted, that is their job. Yes they have made their money, well earned. Some people get jealous I guess because they didn't have the talent. They certainly aren't going to track & catch any fugitives/criminals acting like scared little whiney babies...come here we see you get your cuffs on....lol

630. In response to #7 , you are right I agree with you completely. What about when black people use the word cracker, honkey, peckerwood etc. or When someone uses the work Wet Back etc. I take no offense to them unless they are made with bad intent. and alot of times its the way people just talk to eachother if they know eachother.
