Celebrity Justice
D.A. Will Not Charge Orlando Bloom

TMZ has learned that the L.A. County District Attorney will not file charges against actor Orlando Bloom over the accident he was involved in on October 12 that injured his two passengers.

In the D.A.'s Charge Evaluation Worksheet, the D.A. states that they are declining to prosecute the "Pirates of the Caribbean" star because of "insufficient evidence."

According to the document, Bloom "was being pursued by 4 vehicles containing paparazzi and one vehicle containing fans." Bloom "took evasive action resulting in a collision."

As for walking away, they say he "walked approximately 60 feet from the scene in an apparent attempt to avoid paparazzi's continued pursuit." They say "[Bloom] was not D.U.I. but was dazed."

31. What the hell is wrong with most of you people? Americans are the most bitter, evil, unrational people in the world. It makes me sad to even claim I'm an American. Do none of you remember 9/11? Do none of you remember the Iraq war? Our brothers and sisters are dying every single day and all you have is venom in your mouths that you spit on everyone, especially undeserving, innocent people. None of you seem to have the decency to realize this is a human being AND, if it was you in his situation, would you want people to say such horrible things about you? I would hope that if you were in the same situation, you would be treated kindly and, more importantly, FAIRLY.

34. Rational thinking prevails:) These camera stalkers are going to get somebody killed (if not already) one day:( It must be hell knowing yur under the microscope of cameras just waiting for you to slip up and scratch yur nose or anything else they can repackage as a pick or whatever and then plaster it across the web? Thank you...

TMZ cannot ruin someone's life!
Some of these post's are almost embarrassing the power they give themselves and TMZ lol
it's dramatic but not reality. Do you really think Orlando's life as an actor hangs in the balance because of a web site ?
Get a grip, His own choices are responsonsible! And I highly doubt he make's them with TMZ in mind.

37. Wow... It's kinda sad that so many people have so little faith in people.

The police used their best judgement at the scene and the cops decided that he didn't need to be given a field sobriety test. Also, didn't he go to the hospital? There's a good chance a blood test was run, especially if the doctors or nurses thought he was under the influence.

It seems people are bitter because they want celebrities to mess up and when there's not enough evidence to prove that they did, in fact, mess up people assume they "got away with it" because they're famous.

Also, technically he is a star of Pirates of the Caribbean... There can be than one star in a movie.

Film after the crash showed him with the police, with the 2 woman who were hurt. He showed concern for them, talking with them & the police.

45. People, people, people! Whatever it is you send to someone, comes back to you three times three! It is a very simple law of nature, of the Universe, if you wish. Orlando Bloom is a human being, just like you # 4, he does not need to go back to UK as you ordered him to do, and these are not "our" or "your" streets for that matter, you are just a narrow minded, hateful, frustrated little person!
