Britney Spears -- Hotel Mommy

Multiple sources tell TMZ that Britney's first scheduled visit with her children since being stripped of custody was a disaster.

We're told Spears was to have a scheduled visit with her kids at 10:00 AM Thursday, surrendering the kids to K-Fed later that day. Sources say on Wednesday night, Britney decided she wouldn't see her children at either of her homes -- instead, she wanted to visit with her kids at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel. We're told K-Fed's lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, went ballistic.

The way we understand it, a parenting coach was supposed to be present for the visit, and Kaplan felt it was appropriate for the coach to counsel Britney on how to take care of her kids at home -- not at a hotel.

We're told Spears, who checked into the Beverly Wilshire Hotel at 6:00 PM Wednesday and then checked out at 2:00 AM Thursday, went back to her Malibu home and decided not to fight for her desire for a hotel visit with her children.

At 10:00 AM Thursday, the scheduled time for visitation, a K-Fed bodyguard arrived at Brit's Malibu home and rang the buzzer. He waited forty minutes -- but no one came out. With the kids inside the car, we're told the plug was finally pulled and they all went back to K-Fed's.

33. I think ya'll need to step back and take a bigger look. Brit is a very intelligent and deductuve woman. her big mistake was letting that cruel ali sims into her life who seduced K-fed (her soul mate) and planted all those nasty drugs and britney look-a-likes to incrimi-hate her. the girl knows this now AND SHES GONE UNDERGROUND. she knows thats the only way she can be the brit-mohter (brither) that she neeeeeds to be. go brit! ya'll just ignorant.

34. Why does Britney feel as though she has to chose between being a "pop star" or being a parent? Lots of stars do it and they are considered hot/successful moms... Demi, Madonna, Jennifer Garner, Reese... why can't Brit see that she can have it all! She thinks it is tough being a parent now, wait until those boys are old enough to understand all of this. She will really have her hands full and the guilt will overwhelm her for a lifetime.

35. TMZ why don't you report the TRUE facts?The visit was scheduled for Friday NOT Thursday. She never said she wanted to have the kids @ the hotel, she actually thought it was best for her to have them @ home. She went back home, got the house in order for the kids & she can have some quality time. The so called bodyguard of Kevin's rang the security intercom bell but Brit did not answer; the guard left with the boys as he called Alli to tell her. Brit got on the phone begging Kevin to have the boys come back but he refused. She did NOT know the security intercom was not functional (per CNN, Larry King Live, & Inside Edition). She is devistated on not being able to be with her boys, she tried. Kevin is being a butt head - he could have had the boys return to Brit's home for their visit.. But he's making her look bad when in fact she tried. Have you noticed she has not been seen since Thursday? This is really bad & he's making her look terrible while he's being praised a a great father. So many of these so called journalists have said he gave up the clubs, drinking, the drugs to have the kids. Ummm, did they not see his bodygurad buying 2 large cases of Beer a few days ago? Oh that's right, it must have not been for Kevin. JMO.

36. Oh, and for the stupid people: she goes to hotels because then her drug drealer(s) can get to her without anyone knowing who they are, since the paprazzi has her homes staked out (and is why they knew hat happened at her house with the visit).

37. Forty minutes?!?!?!? come on! if i was expecting to see my kids for the first time in days AND expected them at a specific time i would be calling everyone at 10:01 asking where my kids are. but it's a waste of time to apply logic to a drug addict and alcoholic.

38. I don't think she FORGOT her panties. She knew it would bring her the much needed attention she strives for all the time. Or maybe another thought is that shse was either on her way to/from the now infamous sex tape she supposedly made. Wonder what the scheduled release date for that will be, or more accurately, when she needs another dose of attention.

40. It's unsettling enough for these small children to be shuttled between 2 homes and 2 parents. On top of this, Britney wants to throw a random hotel into the mix, further confusing her children?

Children need SECURITY. They need to feel safe and in order to feel SAFE, they need lots of love, support and familiar surroundings.

The court is trying to work with Britney to HELP her become a better parent and she is refusing this help. She is too selfish to realize her actions are causing PROFOUND harm to two small children who desperately need their mommy to start behaving like an adult.

41. It seems clear that she doesn't want the children. She was always out all night clubbing and daily tanning when she had them at home, so I wonder if they even know who she is. There was always some different person carrying them around when she had her photo ops with the kids. At least with K-Fed hopefully they can bond with the nanny...... and it seems that K-Fed is with them more then Brit was.... and have just one person caring for them instead of Brits revolving door staff.

42. Since we see Britney in stained clothes and instead of washing her clothes she just goes and buys new clothes and wears then out of the store. That could be an insight as to the condition of the inside of her home and why she doesn't want anyone appointed by the courts to enter her home. My guess is that her house is a pigsty. I hope the judge has her involuntarily locked up for an exam and evaluation for her own sake and more importantly her kids sake. I don't think she wants the kids and will do anything for the attention of the cameras including giving her kids away. What will she come up with next to keep the attention on her.....?

44. What's wrong with taking her kids to a hotel? She wants to parade them around in front of the paps and make herself look like the doting, caring mother who is the victim of the courts...that's what wrong with it...it's not about the kids...it's all about Britney. If she cared about her kids well being she keep her supervised vistitation behind closed doors and allow the evaluator to do their job effectively!! God bless those poor children! I hope they somehow are able to grow up healthy and well adjusted...in spite of all the chaos going on around them!!

45. Oh, she has plenty of help. $150 million of it, and it still won't help her. She's stunted. There's a bit, fat dose of humble pie coming her way, and then the 'Star' might grab a clue and become human again. Britney is a fool. She needs to concede and get help from someone wiser right now, and that would mean just about anybody else other than herself at this point. Personally, I think she's under the influence, and furthermore, she seems to want to be.
