Lindsay: Papa Can You Hear Me?

lindsay lohanActress/bad driver Lindsay Lohan's dad, Michael Lohan, says he's heading to Utah again next week to spend quality time with his troubled daughter.

Lilo, who has been in rehab since early August, is said to be "in a great, great, place now," Daddy Lohan told the Daily News. "I've never heard her so honest, contrite and focused."

As a part of his visit, Michael will take Lindsay to an undisclosed location in Utah for outpatient therapy.

Lindsay and her dad had been estranged for the past two years but recently reconciled.

Shocker! Oprah Really Rich!

No surprise here -- the Queen of all Media, Oprah Winfrey, topped Forbes' "Celebrity 100 Power List" -- for the second time. The talk show host earned an estimated $260 million in the last year.

Jerry Seinfeld was ranked second, but didn't even come close. The neurotic comedian made a paltry $60 million -- hardly in Oprah's league.

Other celeb power players: Simon Cowell, David Letterman, Jay Leno and ... Judge Judy.

Beyonce: Too Bootylicious for Kuala Lumpur

beyonce"Crazy in Love" singer Beyonce had to cancel a November 1 concert in Kuala Lumpur after Muslim groups protested. The concert was canceled because the promoter -- Pineapple Concerts -- failed to secure a license.

Insider sources claim, however, that the promoter purposely chose not to apply for a license because Beyonce refused to comply with the strict dress regulations required to perform in the country.

Ministry of Culture, Arts and Heritage rules state that female performers must show no skin from the tops of their chests to their knees, reports Us. What fun is that?

16. I believe that any one, Beyonce , all performers, or anyone visiting another country, should take the responsibilty and respect that country's dress code rather than dress for "shock" purposes. We, USA, have enough trouble with our international image and we don't need to feed that image by having a singer, good or lousey, bare her boobs, or behind. If a singer, or otherwise has talent they should be able to perform and not make a spetical of themselves. A little respect would help our image, not damage it. Take your undies somewhere else. Take your snit somewhere else. Period.

17. I dont get too excited when I hear Oprah has given 1 million dollars to this or that cause. On a percentage basis that would be like me giving 26 bucks.

When she does a Bill Gates or Warren Buffet thing with her money, than maybe I'll start believing her bs about giving back so much. Shes so full of herself it isnt even worth noting.

And yes of course she is entitled to every cent she scams, I mean earns...just quit with the great humanitarian speel---she does nice things for others, but dont we all who give a small portion of what we make each year to charity? Puhleeze, she gives no more than the average middle class tax payer does on a percentage basis.

Cant take it with you girl

20. True Earners comment to blackandwhite girl made no sense. Democracy grants freedom of speech in this country. The first admendment? Blackandwhitegirl simply said she "thinks" people should dress modestly. She didn't say there ought to be a law against it.
I agree with you when you state that the real problem is the growing gap between the wealtlhy and the poor. It is unconscionable. Oprah herself stated on a past show that she didn't realize that people could be denied coverage for expensive procedures, even when they had health insurance, until she saw "Sicko". Talk about out of touch. rich, glamor grabbin' fast talkin' spotlight hoggin' woman! I say she's a corporation, more than a woman, at this point!

22. What's that expression, "When in Rome,.......?" If you can't respect another country's culture, then stay home. No big deal.

23. #14 Not liking American Democracy dosen't have a thing to do with what I'm talking about.

Stop and think what you said. lack of amition, sense of entitlement, mental illness, physical illness, laziness, what does that have to do with what I said.

Sounds to me like you fall under the group that I said dosen't care.

As far as me leaving, I've been here 71 years, most likley a lot longer then you.

You must be a LIBERAL, right.

24. #19 is right on...

Oprah is out of touch with what us mere mortals experience on a daily basis, and has been for I would guess the last 15+ years easily. She at the start of her local Chicago show was popular because she was in touch than. Now she is not, and those she has surronded herself with are worse Yes People than any Stalin, Castro, Hitler, or Chavez have ever had.

You tell Oprah she's wrong and youre toast. Look what happened with last years Million Little Pieces fiasco---she pushed it even when there were lingering questions about its realness. Even went on Larry King, completely out of touch with what the public had already concluded (it was a big lie), trying to defend the book and the author..only to a few days later publicly berate the author and not herself for pushing this thing.

Her staff could not boldly tell her she was wrong on this one...that example opened up my eyes to how that whole Harpo Operation is run. She hast a clue about how to get the most out of people around her, or generate creativity and new ways of thinking.

My hope is another "new Oprah" comes along, just like she did 25 years ago and knocked Phil Donahue out of the box. Its time, its a natural kind of thing, shes had her run.

She didnt even know how to pump gas on that Road trip she took with Gayle King...talk about out of touch with the audience, good grief. Its no wonder she hasnt a clue about medical costs nor for that matter anything regular people experience.

Time for a Change, her 25 years is long overdue.

25. I agree with #6- her career is based on her being half naked. Her "singing" is at best mediocre. Without the distraction of her costumes, maybe someone would have realized she's not what she's made out to be.

26. I don't see what Beyonce's problem is. Gwen Stefani complied to the rules and just doubled her fanbase in KL. But I'm sure Beyonce doesn't need 22million more fans, right?.. and I thought she was smart.

27. Too sexy to be smart. With her beautiful face and fantastic voice, she should have no problem winning over an audience completely covered. So guess she isn't secure in her talent alone. Gotta sex it up or they might not like me.

28. Oprah grew up poor in a house with no running water and electricity. She knows what being poor is about. Should she give up all her money and move to the hood so she can stay in touch.

29. Asking her to cover up isn't much to ask & out of respect for the country she should've complied. It's not like they asked her to leave her weave at home ROFLMAO.

30. Wow, y'all is hatin' on Beyonce, what's up with that? I luv me some Beyonce and if she ever wants to tour those countries, I'd be glad to snatch the drapes out of my double-wide and make her a form-fitting costume. I don't have a sewing machine and I can't sew, but I'd be a quick study. Honk if you luv Beyonce!
