Protestors: Vick's Sick

Animal rights protesters are angry over Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick's alleged involvement with an illegal dogfighting ring. Vick was indicted on Tuesday for federal dogfighting charges.

Around 75 animal-loving members of the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals demonstrated in front of the NFL's New York offices on Friday calling for Vick's suspension, reported the Daily News. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell has yet to rule on Vick's status.

The Humane Society of the United States held a similar protest at Nike's Portland, Oregon, headquarters. Nike recently decided not to release its newest Vick shoe, though it has seven other Vick-related items in production.

136. Seriously, any public that looks up to him needs a good psychologist and a rubber room.

143. I like the idea of part of his punishment to be him working in an animal shelter (always supervised) nursing abused animals back to health. Then maybe he'll get some empathy.

Either that or throw him under a bus, I'm kinda on the fence.

146. Someone like this, a millionare NFL star who participates & profits off the torture and killing of innocent animals is not really sick, just cold cruel and greedy. What a sad excuse for a human being, much less a sports figure that kids are supoposed to look up to. If he were on fire I wouldn't spit on him. He should be put through what he put those skeletal scarred torturred pit bulls through. I have a put bull someone dumped where I live. She was physically & mentally abused, but I nursed her back to health. I have never had a sweeter dog in my life. I guess she was dumped for that reason, they couldn't make her mean. It's so depressing to think people are capable of treating any living thing this way. But dogs are our companion pets-I just will never get how this is allowed to happen. Give to PETA or the ASPCA, be it your time or donation. This has to stop.

148. How about a "Clockwork Orange" solution:
Tie him to a chair and force him to watch PETA videos of torn-up abused animals until he vomits.
Have you seen some of this stuff on you tube? I cried.
