"Home Improvement" Star's House -- A Real S**thole

Once you get past the smell of s**t and piss, and cryptic messages spray-painted everywhere and massive holes smashed into the walls, Taran Noah Smith's former home isn't really that bad ......yeah, right.

TMZ got video of the house today -- the place Smith called home until the bank foreclosed on the property 10 days ago. The 4 bedroom/4 bath house is located in the L.A. suburb of Sherman Oaks. The wreckage inside is breathtaking.

The words "Please view this lesson in finality" were scrawled on one of the walls. Bitter, party of one! The real estate tear-sheet on the house reads, "Absolutely the worst house in a prime location," offered for a cool $1.149 mil!
Taran Smith
Smith recently divorced his wife, who is sixteen years his senior. Smith's lawyer told TMZ he doesn't think his client did all the damage, adding, "You can thank his golddigging ex-wife for the debacle he's in."

100. It's funny how all of you can sit here and judge someone you don't even know. You all clearly have NO idea why he married Heidi and the problems he's had with him parents. The point is it's no ones business but, his. No one's perfect! Everyone here i'm sure has gone threw there share of hardships and embarassment, now just imagine it being publisied. LEAVE HIM ALONE! 102. he is on drugs....she is not....he gets 40G's every 3 mos.....she gets nothing....they are still married....they have no children.....she has not lived with him in a long time.....who trashed the house? 103. I lived at that house with Taran and Heidi. I could tell TMZ and you all some interesting stories. Taran's lawyer stated that you can thank his gold digging ex-wife for the debacle he's in, well that may be partly true, but I will tell you that Taran had just as much to do with the collapse of the home that now needs so much improvement, not to mention the extreme makeover his financial life needs too. He partied too much and was not responsible enough. He did not know how to manage his money and was too easily influenced to spend his money foolishly by Heidi. It was a constant party laced with many business ideas and creative projects that never went anywhere for the most part. Taran's a good guy and has a great heart. I believe he will pull out of this. But the best thing that ever happened to him was the separation from his surrogate mom/girlfriend, Heidi Van Pelt. Though she also has a good heart deep down and can seem charming and fun on the surface, she is a snake that will turn around and bite you in the back the moment you are not looking. Taran's a good guy and has a great heart. I believe he will pull out of this. But the best thing that ever happened to him was the seperation from his surrogate mom/girlfriend, Heidi Van Pelt. Though she also has a good heart deep down and can seem charming and fun on the surface, she is a snake that will turn around and bite you in the back the moment you are not looking. Good luck Taran. 104. People gravitate toward the familiar. He grew up with worthless, user parents, who sucked upon his income because they couldn't support themselves. So naturally, he married someone not much different than them. The parents and the wife are so much alike, and their hatred for each other shouldn't fool anyone into thinking that they fundamentally differ.
