Was Benoit's Son Really Sick?

Chris Benout Amid reports that WWE wrestler Chris Benoit allegedly injected his son with hormones because of a health condition, Scott Ballard, District Attorney of Fayette County, Ga., just released this statement:

"There are additional reports that contradict the earlier information that suggested that Daniel Benoit may have suffered from Dwarf Syndrome or Fragile X Syndrome. Daniel's family denies that he suffered from either condition. As a result of the family's concerns, the Fayette County Sheriff's investigators and the District Attorney's Office have inquired into this matter. A source having access to certain of Daniel's medical reports reviewed those reports, and they do not mention any pre-existing mental or physical impairment. Reports from Daniel's educators likewise contradict the claims that Daniel was physically undersized. The educators report that Daniel graduated kindergarten and was prepared to enter the first grade on par with the other students."

38. I knew it couldn't be true. Shame on the WWE for starting such a horrible rumor. Even if Daniel did suffer from any illness, it is not for the WWE and it's lawyers to let the public into their personal lives without any proof. I hope Vince digs deep into his pockets because I am sure that Nancy's parents as well as Chris's will want to sue them for starting such a hateful and hurtful rumor about an innocent little child.

39. That seems odd. My daughter just turned 6 and she is entering Grade one. She just completed Kindergarten. If he was 7, he should have been entering Grade 2.

40. Given all the inconsistencies in this case im not ready to call Chris Benoit a cold blooded killer just yet. This investigation is being fumbled big time by the authorities. The investigation is still ongoing, and authorities have already said it APPEARS to be a murder-suicide. They haven't ruled anything else out.

42. It doesn't say anywhere up there that they DID NOT inject him. It was already realeased by the DA on the case, NOT WWE that the child had needlemarks on his arms. This statement just said that he did not have a disease. They still may have thought he was too small for his age and injected him with HGH. Maybe instead of the Fragile X, that was the friction in the marriage.

43. The kid did have a huge head though, is this a symptom of fragile x syndrome? Does not justify this horrific act of course, but it could explain where Benoit's head was at, especially if he wasn't in his rational mind from substances or whatever.

44. I love reading this stuff. I honestly don't think people think before they type. First, 7 is not to old to be leaving kindergarden. Lots of kids start kindergarten at 6. Consequently, this may make them 7 when they leave kindergarten. Second, everybody on here is saying what a sicko he is for injecting his son with growth hormones. Lots of individuals receive growth hormones for medical reasons. Don't make the family sound disturbed because they did this. As a health care professional I have seen many petients take GH (growth hormone) and not because they want to be taller or look bigger, unlike what some people think on here. Please do research before you post something that makes you sound and look stupid.
