No Post-Pokey Party for Paris

There's no gigantic blowout in the works to celebrate Paris Hilton's release from jail -- at least according to her mom. Sorry, Greasy Bear.

TMZ caught mama Hilton, Kathy, at The Ivy yesterday, where she told our cameras the only thing the family has planned for their jailed daughter is some time at home with the family. "We're just gonna let her decompress, be at home for a while, get the family together" Kathy told TMZ, adding, "she is doing much better."

That million-dollar interview with "Today" must just be part of the "decompressing" process.

48. Yeah but the interview thing didn't make it into the official orders... I don't think they can ignore the monitoring device attached to her so easily.

49. Technically, the "interviews" with Walters and Seacrest could be legally considered conversations with "friends" that were later reported on.

There was no video or audio of Paris from jail - that was the order.

51. paris's song The warden threw a party in the county jail.
The prison band was there and they began to wail.
The band was jumpin and the joint began to swing.
You shouldve heard those knocked out jailbirds sing.
Lets rock, everybody, lets rock.
Everybody in the whole cell block
Was dancin to the jailhouse rock.

Spider murphy played the tenor saxophone,
Little joe was blowin on the slide trombone.
The drummer boy from illinois went crash, boom, bang,
The whole rhythm section was the purple gang.
Lets rock, everybody, lets rock.
Everybody in the whole cell block
Was dancin to the jailhouse rock.

Number forty-seven said to number three:
Youre the cutest jailbird I ever did see.
I sure would be delighted with your company,
Come on and do the jailhouse rock with me.
Lets rock, everybody, lets rock.
Everybody in the whole cell block
Was dancin to the jailhouse rock.

The sad sack was a sittin on a block of stone
Way over in the corner weepin all alone.
The warden said, hey, buddy, dont you be no square.
If you cant find a partner use a wooden chair.
Lets rock, everybody, lets rock.
Everybody in the whole cell block
Was dancin to the jailhouse rock.

Shifty henry said to bugs, for heavens sake,
No ones lookin, nows our chance to make a break.
Bugsy turned to shifty and he said, nix nix,
I wanna stick around a while and get my kicks.
Lets rock, everybody, lets rock.
Everybody in the whole cell block
Was dancin to the jailhouse rock.

54. Interesting. I think we're seeing mature decisions on Paris & her family's part; this is something I thought I'd never see. I always said that having a Humungo party immediately after she got out (particularly since she's been saying she wanted to spend time helping others & really wanted to become a more mature person) was a horrible idea; it sends the exact wrong message. Now that there's to be no party, just a family get together, I think this sends the right message. Maybe paris is starting to grow up & become an adult (instead of a 26 year old baby). Maybe...

You really need to stop gloating, you keep tempting fate and effffing things up for her every time.

56. Like mother, like daughter...Kathy Hilton CAN NOT resist a camera or microphone. Have you ever heard her say "NO COMMENT", or "LEAVE US ALONE", or "REALLY, WE'RE JUST NOT THAT FASINATING"? I've always been curious; do you wonder if she drank heavily while she was preggers with her half wit?

57. I'm so glad that Mrs. Hilton said this. I hope she is being honest. If Paris is truly trying to change her image it would be disastrous to have a large and garish party. I personally hope Paris has really changed and will be a large part of the charities she has mentioned wanting to get involved in. I also hope her partying days are behind her and she will focus more on a career and growing up to be a lovely and mature woman.

59. good message to send to the rich, get drunk, get caught, make millions on talk shows.
this is not news! when was the last time you seen an ordinary person, with the same crime get out that soon and make a killing. just hope she is as lucky next time. she would not get over a year for a death.

60. After all this the absolute last thing Paris needs is more publicity with CNN. Really, what she needs the most is to spend a few years out of the spotlight, for her sanity if for nothing else. I am not a fan but I can't imagine being watched all the time. Can't say I like her much, but why isn't anyone thinking of her welfare?
