76. As a result of the Paris fiasco, it won't surprise me a bit if Nicole (if found guilty by a jury) is given the maximum jail sentence, with no allowance for alternative incarceration. Second-offense DUI is not, after all, something to joke about, and by its very nature it requires punishment since offenders obviously didn't learn anything the fist time they got arrested.

Gone are the days when Paris and Nicole can get away with disobeying or skirting the laws the rest of us must follow. Now there are too many people across the nation aware of the preferential treatment that young wealthy female defendants are receiving, and furthermore are already sick to death of it. The judge who will hear her case is undoubtedly aware that the nation will be watching the case too, to make sure these two girls are treated like anyone else would be treated.

77. I am a huge fan of Nicole but this is something I can not defand her on. She could have killed somone it is WAY WAY worse then what Paris did.

78. Nicole, just do your five days in the pokey. If you can show up on the set and film that insipid show with that herpetically addled, heavy footed troll that calls "itself" Paris, you can certainly do a few days in jail. What's worst? Potentially catching a case of bed bugs or having one of Paris' STD fleas pop off onto you? There are worst fates, deary.

80. Don't Do The Crime If You Can't Do The Time; Lots of women incarcerated are pregnant Nicole, so that won't save your boney azz. Think of the innocent people you could have killed that night you drove wrong way on the freeway, high as a kite ...DUI. JAIL!! What? What? What I said is what's wrong with the legal system? Tell me I'm not hearing this! Don't get me wrong, I think Richie is probably guilty, but have you forgotten about our constitutional right to a jury and the fact that someone is innocent until proven guilty? Not to mention the numerous statutes that govern arrests procedures and evidence gathering. All of this is meant to protect citizens against being falsley convicted and/or mistreated by the legal system, of which may be YOU some day. You're probably one of the people who float around going, "Wahhh - it's not fair what so and so is doing to me. Wahhh - I know my rights". Never forget the due process that all US Citizens are legally entitled to.

86. She's an idiot and deserves to go to jail! This is not her first DUI! She could have hired a driver if she wanted to get high. The rich and famous do not have the right to endanger the rest of us by driving under the influence! I hope the Judge throws the book at her! She should get more time than Paris.
