Rachel Weisz: The Lovely Bones Indeed!

Rachel WeiszBy the looks of her disappearing frame, Rachel Weisz is really getting into character for her role in the Peter Jackson directed film, "The Lovely Bones." And no, it's not the Nicole Richie Story!

Rachel reportedly beat out a long list of fellow A-list actresses who wanted to play the coveted role of a mother whose teenage daughter is abducted and feared dead, in the film adaptation of Alice Sebold's 2002 bestselling novel. Skinny actress, phat role!

The Oscar winner, seen here at a premiere in NYC on Monday, gave birth to a son last year, and has apparently lost all the baby weight -- and then some! Oh Mummy!

1. I have read that book 3 times. It's a beautiful, funny, heart-wrenching story, and the fact that Rachel Weisz is so thin helps convey the overwhelming grief suffered by the character she plays, who also became painfully thin after the loss of her beloved daughter. Having said that, I hope Rachel is taking care of herself, is mindful of her health, and is eating a well-balanced diet. It would be a shame to see her dealing with an eating disorder like so many young actresses are today. Great book, though, and I'm really excited that Peter Jackson is directing!!!

2. Rachel does not look thin at all. If you want to know what a thin person looks like, look at Keira knightly, that's thin.
