16. This has been a long time coming. Geez, when will people learn? The people around her finally needed to shove her butt in rehab and keep it there. This is getting ridiculous now. So many other Z-list starlets would kill to be in their positions or be making as much money. Yet these girls just waste the opportunity with substance abuse. Sad. Very sad.

17. I think this is very, very sad. Regardless, if you like her or not, this is a woman who clearly needs help. She has no positive role models, since both her parents are losers and addicts, themselves. They say you are a product of your environment. So, how is she to know any better? Instead of all you hating on her, why don't you reflect for a minute or two and realize that this woman could be dead if she doesn't change her ways. Her older peers say how talented she is, yet she could be the Marilyn Monroe of our generation - DEAD before her time. So, people just chill and let the woman get the help she needs. I am not a huge fan of hers, but I just feel so sorry for her. Lindsay, I wish you all the best and I hope you get the help you need.

19. I totally agree with #7. Rehab is serious and it's for people who are serious about getting help with their problems. It's obvious she wasn't serious about it before (and i doubt she is serious now), neither was Britney. These b*tches are in total denial, and until they can admit that they have a problem, no one can help them.

Living a PERFECT LIFE is not. She is human. She screws up. we all do! hers is just on camera. 21. Rehab is just a medical term for spa, especially for these people. She needs a real rehab like jail. Next time she will kill someone and not just run into a hedge.

23. I hope she gets well, and FINALLY takes rehab seriously. At the same time, I hope she does not get a reduction in jailtime for her DUI, Underage Drinking, Fleeing the scene of an accident & drug possession charges, simply because she fled to rehab (which seems to be the celebrity thing to do). She needs to do time in jail to straighten her pampered poodle ass out...

25. It "sucks" to have your life documented by paparazzi. However, being an actress does not automatically get your life on camera. The photogs follow her the same way the followed Anna Nicole cause she's a train wreck. Most celebrities only get hounded when they have a new movie or the screw up. My thought is maybe this isn't the job for you if you only like the fame when they adore you.

26. Boy, there are a lot of mean spirited people on this site, very mean spirited.
We just watched Bobby and were very impressed with her performance. I hope she is ready to get the help she needs.
Her mother has been 'pimping' her for years, her Dad has a substance abuse problem and is in jail. Basically she is floundering with no support. Imagine she is a kid down the street with these problems. The behaviour would not be much different.
I really hope she gets the help and support she needs.

28. NEW YORK: Lindsay Lohan, who was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence Saturday in Beverly Hills, California, was photographed less than 48 hours later slumped in the passenger seat of a car.

Web site X17online.com posted the photos Monday, which it said were taken early that morning at a gas station after the 20-year-old actress left the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood, California, with a girlfriend.

The photos show Lohan, wearing a gray hooded sweat shirt, with her mouth open and her eyes shut, apparently asleep. Another photo shows her kneeling on the ground, her back to the camera, apparently before getting into the vehicle.

Leslie Sloane Zelnik, Lohan's publicist, did not return repeated phone calls and e-mail messages from The Associated Press seeking comment.

Lohan was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence Saturday after her convertible struck a curb in Beverly Hills, and investigators found what they believe is cocaine at the scene, police said.

The actress and two other people were riding in her 2005 Mercedes SL-65 when it crashed on Sunset Boulevard around 5:30 a.m., Sgt. Mike Foxen said. It appeared Lohan was speeding, Lt. Mitch McCann said at an afternoon news conference.

Officers at the scene found a "usable amount" of a drug tentatively identified as cocaine, McCann said. He declined to say where the drug was found other than to say Lohan was not carrying it.

Lohan, who spent time at a rehabilitation center earlier this year, was driven in another car to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries, McCann said.

McCann declined to comment on her blood-alcohol level. He said the case will be presented to the District Attorney's Office where Lohan could face more charges, including felonies. Her tentative arraignment date is Aug. 24.

Lohan said in January that she had checked into a rehabilitation center for substance abuse treatment. Her publicist confirmed in December that the actress was attending Alcoholics Anonymous meetings.

She told Allure magazine during an interview for its May issue that she decided to enter the secluded Wonderland Center at the suggestion of her therapist.

Her latest movie, "Georgia Rule," is in theaters. Her other screen credits include "Mean Girls," "Bobby," "A Prairie Home Companion" and "Freaky Friday."
