45 Days, Her Ass?!

Just because Paris Hilton was sentenced to 45 days in jail, it doesn't mean she'll do the time. Because of overcrowding and other issues, L.A. inmates often get sprung early.
Paris and Michelle
Former "Lost" star Michelle Rodriguez was sentenced to 60 days in the very same facility in which Paris is scheduled to do time for the very same offense -- probation violation over a DUI conviction. Rodriguez served a grand total of 2 hours before jail officials told her to get lost.

Stay tuned.

76. I think its a little much, as far as the comment about her driving now, prob. the suspension is over, but also could be reinstated. She has the money for a limo? Driving is a priviledge not a right. But really I mean Naiomi Cambell did community service, which turned into a circus, Paris should do that. It would be an entirely different story if she was arrested for a second DUI. I'm not advocating drinking and driving under any circumstances, but her inital arrest of .08 for her size easily could have been one strong drink, which could impair you. The girl from "Lost" I just read about went there and spent two hours. Even house arrest would teach her a lesson, they randomly call you and you can't have alcohol, they somehow detect it. But alas, Paris please just take a Bently limo and leave the driving up to someone else...

77. LA Times reports today that the jails in LA County are now not overcrouded and that Parasite WILL serve her entire 45 days.

Also what was interesting is that Parasite was pulled over THREE times and warned about her suspension. Yet she still is blaming others.

Her mother is a real piece of ........... work. She was observed yelling at reporters "What a waste of taxpayers money".

The only waste my dear Mrs. Hilton is the space you and your family take up on this planet.

78. I heard that they WERE releasing people early from their jail time at the end of last year, due to overcrowding. But I've read that now people are serving about 1/2 of the time they are sentenced to. We can only hope she does 2-3 weeks. Even that amount of time will give her the shock of her life. She's used to 2000 thread count sheets, gourmet food, and servants to wait on her. This girl has gotten away with too much for too long.....

80. Paris. You said you were trying to become "responsible. " But the irony of that statement is that you were denying responsibility in your words to the judge.

Why not just say, "Yes. I am guilty of the charges and I will do the time."

I would then have just a itty little bit of respect for you!

83. We are not in the least jealous of you. We are ashamed FOR you at times and sorry for you at other times. It seems that being rich- in your case -is hurting you more than helping you. I hope you do the whole time because it will be a wonderful life lesson (yes it will be hard) for you. You can be a better person because of this. I for one want to see your life become more productive and fulfilling. Perhaps that is beyond your maturity level right now, but I have high hopes for you. Pull up your panties and take this like a real woman and learn from it. You can do it! Make us proud of you for a change. Be a quality person who enriches the earth rather than someone who uses us all and feeds on the attention you get- because that is brief and pretend. We want to like you for who you are. Change yourself and let us do that!

85. I wonder how many times she drove while her license was suspended and didn't get caught doing it. Surely, everyone realizes it wasn't just the two times she was caught. I think she deserves to do the full 45 days. And there should be a penalty for arriving for her court date 18 minutes late. She knew what time it was and just didn't show enough respect to show up in time. Forty five days isn't all that long and as you have said, she probably won't serve that long.

86. If what I read in the paper this morning about the lack of overcrowding in Lynwood, she'll be serving her 45 alright! That other girl (I don't watch Lost!) got out because it was crowded at the time but not no mo! Bitch deserves it!

87. You ppl have some serious jealousy issues, oh wow she drove to work omg, no way throw the book at her. Grow up ppl, this is so stupid. First off Kobe Bryant rapes a girl and gets off with nothing, R. Kelly is on tape having relations with a Minor what does he get nothing! Now, you got rapper Akon, doing something with a minor. What do you think he'll get? Exactly nothing. Do you really think by them going hard after paris is going to make a differnce? It's just pointless, the girl drove to work, it's not like she hurt anyone. GET OVER IT!
