Scary Takes Murphy to Court Over Baby Spice

Eddie Murphy and Melanie Brown Former Spice Girl Melanie Brown is taking Eddie Murphy to court to prove he is the father of her newborn daughter, Angel Iris Murphy Brown. When one paternity suit case closes, another one opens!

Brown tells People magazine that Murphy won't take a DNA test or sign the birth certificate, "so it's going to have to go to court so he can be forced to do it, which is strange since he was the one asking for it." Murphy questioned the paternity on a Dutch television program last year.

Mel B. says Eddie has yet to lay eyes on Angel, adding, "My people have contacted his people and they just had no response to anything." Murphy's rep told People: "We do not comment on Mr. Murphy's personal life." His actions speak for themselves!

16. Eddie M is acting like a complete asshole, take the damn test already! If he was worried about getting her pregnant why the hell didnt he use a condom ? Whether she was on the pill or not he should have covered his own ass, hell he better hope all he might have is a baby having un protected sex these days ! What a low life he is turning out to be.

20. # 6: Don't know if you're aware that a DNA paternity test can only be taken AFTER the child is born! Mel B also said that AFTER Eddie denied the child, he refused to take calls from her. Not her fault he's a deadbeat bastard!

22. I'm going to jump on the bandwagon and say that Eddie is the father, too. The child is beautiful and she looks just like him. Here's a lesson to women: wait until you are in a loving and committed relationship. Children don't deserve to be brought into situations
where they are unwanted.

People, ask yourselves this-why are you believing everything that Mel is saying-she's the one who is going on the airwaves and telling everyone who will listen what is going on in what should otherwise be private. Eddie asked for a paternity test, go thru the courts and get one then. But why does she have to publically let everyone know. She's in it for the money, got pregnant because she saw cash in front of her eyes, got caught cheating, and now since he doesn't want to do things WHEN she wants them done, everyone is calling him a jerk. Be realistic here, she's trying to bring him down because he didn't want her anymore after she played him and you all are falling right into her trap. IMHO, he is doing the right thing by staying quiet and letting this unfold in their private lives. He has never been public with his personal life, why should he start now just BECAUSE SHE WANTS IT to go that way? I think not. One last thing, you all don't know in he really refused the test. THOSE ARE HER WORDS, NOT HIS.

28. I don't see why he won't submit to a DNA test so he can move on from this, it doesn't make any sense. Unless he knows he is likely the father and doesn't want to be responsible for his own baby.
