77. I think I'm a little older than the rest of you...but I remember Paula in her dancing days as a choreographer to the Laker girls and Janet Jackson, among others. That was at least 20-25 years ago. It's not too far out to suggest that she's had years of pain!! I have severe osteoarthritis; if her joints and muscles hurt from YEARS of dancing, then it makes sense she would be on prescription drugs. The unfortunate part of all of this is that she has to work through her pain, and go on television and look like a drug addict.

78. If she has a serious illness, then it's time to come forward, and tell the public. She would be doing a great disservice to the people that suffer the same problem. If it's not an illness, then she needs to get off tv ,and get her ass into rehab!!!

79. her injuries from that car accident were real, her pain is real, and I know for a fact that she does not drink when she stays at certain hotels, unless when she checks in she already has it in her bags, because of confidentiality agreements I am not allowed to say which hotels she may or may not check into, or that I personally worked in one of them, and know she did not consume any alcoholic beverages during a four day stay including the mini-bar, in fact she likes iced cappuccino! so I hope it's not MS and that she is not addicted to her painkillers and that people just leave her be, it's not news that a celebrity stumbles over their words, ever have to talk for a living? ever had a slip of the tongue? imagine your life under a microscope? fortunately most of us will never have to worry that someone will post our mistakes for others to make wild assumptions about.
No I am not a fan of hers, in fact I think she is a bit weird but then so is everyone if you look closely enough. no?

80. I feel Sorry for Paula. What ever is wrong with her, she needs help. Someone should try to get her to a doctor. I would hate to see her in up like Anna N. Smith. She is on her way. As for her having MS., I have MS, it effects people different ways. I think if she had MS, she would say so, so that people would stop saying she was on booze or drugs. I vote for booze or drugs. IMO

81. If Paula is in pain or has a debilitating disease, her doctors need to tell her to stop dancing and gyrating during the AI performances. Also, I would think that would be so distracting for those sitting behind her. Paula is an attention seeker and I'm tired of her.

I have been wondering if Paula has Fibromyalgia, its a chronic pain disease that makes you forget the words that you want to say sometimes.The pain is tremendous and would mean that pain killers are neccessary. It also gives you a spaced out feeling which is referred to as 'fibro fog'. Its an awful thing to have and most who have it hate having to tell people about it....It also makes you keep moving because you cannot get comfortable........it also makes you tearful...!!!!.....I really see the symptoms in Paula, give her a break and just for one moment realise that there are diseases that hurt a lot and cause many problems.........

83. TMZ your SOURCES certainly should be able to find out what is wrong with Paula so that her problem can be put to rest. After all she is on American Idol and tons of kids watch that show. They are not stupid and know something is wrong.

I think she does a good job on AI and if '''kids''' know '''something is wrong''' I have to wonder what kids are being told and how they are being raised.....

Pointing out peoples ailments etc is hardly a way to raise children.....People and children need to realise that not everyone has perfect health or look like a Hollywood 'plastic' icon.

Paula looks great and she is compassionate.....she does a great job....

What is wrong with you people who continuously seek to criticise people......

86. i remember reading an article somewhere that paula was taking the medication Enbrel. Enbrel is a DMARD that is used to treat inflammatory arthritis. i took Enbrel in the past for my arthritis but it does not cause your speech to splur. it's a weekly injection. it appears that her slurred speech is from some sort of pain medication/narcotic. possibly oxycontin, vicodin? she has mentioned her back problems in the past. if she is suffering from an inflammatory arthritis then i am sure she is in quite a bit of pain thus the possible pain meds. just a thought...

I spent 20 good years on drugs and partying my ass off. But not now. Had a totally addictive husband.

88. It's obvious that Paula is doing some kind of drug(s) or drinking or both. She even looks messed up in addition to acting messed up. She obviously came on the show messed up. She can only hide this for so long. Sooner or later, you'll hear she's entering rehab. I'm sure she won't be invited back to QVC. They'll kick her off Idol too. She needs deliverance.
