Star Catcher
The Beach is Back

For the first time in a decade, Pam Anderson hit the Malibu shore in her legendary red "Baywatch" bathing suit yesterday, for one last bounce-a-riffic jog on the sand.

The actress flashed back to her old C.J. glory days for an upcoming DIRECTV commercial, equipped with three lifeguard-certified flotation devices.

Thankfully, the Hoff, in his famous itty-bitty red outfit, was nowhere to be seen.

31. P.S.

I think Pam's white wedding bikini showed just how 'classy' she is. I wish I could be so classy and smart.

Maybe after I graduate 7th grade, I'll know a lot more about how to communicate. LMAO!

32. I respected Pamela Anderson when she decided to get rid of the implants. That didn't last and she decided to go UP a size. She should have stuck with the "smaller" ones she had before. Pamela has spoken out frankly about how she contracted Hepatitis C. She got it from sharing a tattoo needle with Tommy Lee. I'm sure Tommy didn't know he had Hep C at the time or they probably wouldn't have shared a needle. I don't agree with everything Pamela does but I'm not her mother. I don't think she's dirty or nasty, I don't know her so I can't judge her. She seems to geniunely love her children. I also don't wish a fatal disease on ANYBODY regardless of who they are and what they do. Karma's a bitch and what goes around, comes around. Saying somebody deserves to have a terminal illness is like wishing death on somebody. I don't wish death on anybody because there's no coming back from that.

33. Lita -

Who "wished" a disease on Pamela Anderson? I haven't read that here.

But not protecting yourself and being surprised when it happens is really incredible. How can you think you won't get something if you don't protect yourself?

34. What I meant by wishing it on her was saying she deserved it. Nobody deserves it. She didn't contract Hep C sexually. I wouldn't share a tattoo needle with anybody; you can never be sure. If Pamela had said she found out she had an STD and went public with it, yeah, I'd say "Well, you probably should have used protection." But she didn't deserve this. Nobody does, that was my point.

37. To #21: Huh? Are you kidding me? This "lady" has many issues. How about her sex tapes for the planet to view. She has a bad rep because she made that way. She is a grown up who made choices, bad ones at that. She has to be responsible for that. I feel sorry for her boys. How about that for your mommy. Good times.

As for thinking I am naive for thinking she contracted Hep C from sex, please read this information:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The most common form of transmission is through injection drug use, even if drug use was many years ago or happened only once. Sharing needles or any drug related equipment is enough to spread Hepatitis C. The only way to avoid being exposed to HCV in this way is not to share needles or use injection drugs. Another way of getting Hepatitis C is through a blood transfusion from a donor who has Hepatitis C especially for those people who received a blood transfusion prior to 1990. In 1998 the risk of contracting Hepatitis C through a blood transfusion is virtually zero, less then 1 in 200,000. Due to precautions taken in screening donors and blood units. Sharing toothbrushes, nail clippers, or razors with an infected person can also spread the Hepatitis C virus.

Sex and Hep C

At this time it is believed that transmission of HCV by sexual means-either heterosexual or homosexual-is extremely rare (approximately 1% to 3%). In spite of the low risk, long-term monogamous couples must decide for themselves about routine condom use. They should avoid unprotected sex during a women’s menstrual cycle if the women is HCV-positive, due to the fact that Hepatitis C is contracted through blood.
----------------------------------------------------------

Now:
Have you made any choice in your life that you wish you hadn't made, wish you could take back and would be mortified if someone found out or you earned a life long battle?

I can kind of speak about this from experience. I was young, thought I was invincible and spent every moment outside tanning, running, hiking, climbing, biking and ignored protection and now I suffer bouts of skin cancer. Did my poor choices cause this? Yes. Should people say I deserve it and too bad for being stupid. Yeah, I guess, but why? Do I wish I would have listened? Yes! This is the point I am trying to imply regarding youth, we take it for granted and the "balloon payment" usually does not come due until we are about 40. We don't think it will happen to us.

Take care.

42. OOOOOOPS!
This is wrong:
"As for thinking I am naive for thinking she contracted Hep C from sex"
This is right:
"As for thinking I am naive for NOT thinking she contracted Hep C from sex"
Guess I need some of that edumacation stuff that marquita is signing up for soon! :-)

43. Wonder what happened with the marriage to Kid Rock? I wonder if he was not just a bit concerned about his own health considering her condition. I'm not exactly educated on this particular problem but I do remember being surprised that Kid Rock married her. Anyway, I think he should have married Sheryl Crow. They were great together. Pam is stunning - not a beautiful face and not that smart in my opinion - but stunning never-the-less.

44. Pam looks good in the bathing suit, but I personally don't care for her because it's obvious that she's very conceited, and lives to be in the spotlight showing off the body parts that she bought every chance she gets. Many of us could look like that if we had the money to spend like her.
She would be taken more seriously if she would act more like a classy lady, and instead of intimating that every single man on the earth lives for women like her.
She is pretty but the way she acts, takes so much of that beauty away-and that is sad. She seems to have so much yet on the other hand, she has nothing of value except for her two children.
