Joan & Melissa Replaced By "Dancing" Fembot

The TV Guide Channel has replaced veteran red carpet fashion mavens Joan & Melissa Rivers with Lisa Rinna! Who will you be wearing?

Rinna has signed a multi-year contract with the network, which will see the former "Dancing with the Stars" booty shaker hosting five red carpet pre-shows and five fashion recap shows, beginning with the Emmy Awards in September. TV Guide says they chose Rinna because, "In addition to being an established TV star, she also has fashion expertise as both a business person and commentator, so she is a great fit for this role and for our brand." Lisa owns two L.A. area boutiques called Belle Gray.

The network released a statement saying, "TV Guide Channel is very appreciative of Joan and Melissa Rivers' contributions to the success of our Red Carpet programming over the past three years. We wish them the best in their future endeavors." Snap!

While it is not known where the mother/daughter team will end up next, Joan Rivers, through a rep, told TMZ, "I will tell you my true feelings and experiences, as soon as we finalize our new deal." Can we talk?!

Joan, who invented red carpet fashion reporting as we know it, and daughter Melissa had been with TV Guide since January 2005, after leaving E!

3. I happen to know that their new show is sort of a Simple Life knock-off where they travel to high school homecomings and proms and critique all the up & coming sluts. My uncle is head of production. Nothing more priceless than a couple of have-beens having to hear "I'm wearing JCPenney".

6. Lisa Rinna is one of the nastiest, and ugliest women alive! I don't get her at all -- maybe she has a nice body, but it's a shame about her face! YUK!

7. Too bad about Rinna's lips. I think she should have had them "fixed" a long time ago. When you look at her, all you can focus on are the LIPS.

8. Geesh, couldn't they do better than Lisa Rinna? I couldn't stand Joan & Melissa as it was and now they've replaced them with someone just as bad. Couldn't they get someone with some style and grace? Of course not...those people wouldn't be caught dead doing those stupid red carpet shows.

9. I love Joan and Melissa, they are always entertaining. Lisa Rina disgusts with those fake lips. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE get rid of the fake lips. The boobs don't look real either, perhaps she should have them redone to make them look more believable. I think you made a big mistake getting rid of Joan and Melissa., cuz I'll have to watch ryan now!!!!!!

I have always thought joan was a laugh a minute! she was able to laugh at herself and others! i always laughed to when she would call the actors by the wrong names or get all their facts confused! hilarious! her big mistake was bringing melissa into the picture! that woman.....i just don't get her. she's not funny....i highly suspect any slapstick on her part is scripted.....come on joan! get a clue! first E, now tv guide??? cut the dead weight!

14. What took so long, Melissa is so arrogant and cold, she could host an best and bad ice-burg contest if there was one and plus, her and her mother looks like manikins, their faces are so stiff from plastic surgery and botox, they always look like they are in pain.
