Britney's Website Gets Rehabbed Too

Britney Spears is getting a personal overhaul of sorts at Promises in Malibu -- and now she's getting one online as well.

The homepage of Spears' official website had a brand new look this morning, with a vintage (i.e., late Nineties) picture of a sultry Britney slithering on the floor, promising a "New Official Site" soon. Besides that, however, the new homepage simply invites visitors to join her fan club and shop Spears' official store.

Over the past several months, Spears homepage has been the vehicle for various interesting postings, presumably from the pop princess, with exotic tigers appearing last summer and an apology for her crotch-baring antics in early December.

Oddly, most awkwardly out-of-date web addresses within BritneySpears.com still worked as of this afternoon, like a biography page talking up her 2003 single, "Me Against the Music" and a "Stream of Consciousness" page containing a letter addressed to "False Tabloids," that read, in part: "Until you face what is going on in your life, I guess you'll remain a false tabloid."

79. All of you that are so quick to judge should take a look in the mirror. What has happened to compassion and understanding. Until we all walk a mile in Brintney's shoes we cannot or should not have an opinion. Just, say some prayers for her and not judge her. I had post partum depression, and when the headlines everywhere were saying what was happening to Britney, my first thought was the poor thing was suffering from post partum depression. I am ROOTING FOR BRITNEY !! I am sure she is a tough little cookie, my gosh she would have to be. My mom always told me.."If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything." Get well Britney, you do have people rooting for ya sweetie !!

80. I guess everyone should read AOL tonight. Looks like the reason Britt's Post Partum "Story " hit the news today was because they knew what was really coming. Looks like her ex is telling it all now - drugs and threesomes and this was PRIOR to her children. What kind of Depression do you call this now?
Sounds to me like you just call this the TRUTH. I never heard of a Rehab for Depression anyway. So, think about it - if it is just Post Partum Depression - what IS she doing in REHAB???????????????????

Are you kidding?! Get real! She is no better than anyone else. She is just another person who was in the right place at the right time and made a bunch of money. She then became used to being in control and having everyone say Yes to her. She has a problem obviously; hence she is in rehab. She is not above anyone! I wish her the best and I wish her success in rehab but no way is she above anyone - she is just another human struggling with demons - she is not a goddess.

84. OK so all you people think you KNOW what Britney needs and/or wants. WRONG!!! What she needs is to be whatever the hell she wants to be!! In my OPINION she should should just get the hell out of the lime lite for good. JEEZ she's got enough money to do and go wherever she wants. And what the hell is all this AA crap! And intevention CRAP!! All that does is PISS a person off!! I've been through it and it DOES NOT work!!! I just wish she could see what it is like to just be annonomous (I can't spell, so shut up), not annonomous as in AA but as in the real world (just like me, and you people). Britney take care and don't listen to these Asses just do what YOU think you need to do and get on with your life. I wish I could show you how it is to be lower class like me, living paycheck to paycheck, but I am annonomous, so just think about maybe trying it. You don't need luxury to be happy. That is all I have to say about that.

You sound like a pretty angry individual. Have you thought of putting that "drive your point home" anger towards something meaningful or do you just do it behind a keyboard and hidden away. You know, addicts and drunks often feel more powerful when in the depth of their additctions :) Anyway, you sound like someone that should actually fight for a good cause instead of worrying about what kind of opinions other people (like me and you) have about celebrities who sure don't give a rats ars what you (or I) think.

90. Don't even think about burying the body without a "cause of death". It's VERY hard to get a body exhumed (if necessary) when in another country. Remember, there may be criminal proceedings to come.
