63. This is so pathetic for them to pull the race card. Why cant she just be held accountable for what happened? Brandy should be looked at as a PERSON, which is what black people want to be seen as. She hit someone and that resulted in fatality. If this happened to a white or Mexican person they would be charged and I think she should go to jail and serve some time. 64. Race card? so stupid in this situation it just makes me laugh. Punishment for brandy......well we are all guilty i bet of messing with the radio , etc in the car. I dunno that I think she deserves jail time. She may be deserving of being sued.......because I mean that's not gonna bring back the person's life but at least it is something....but neither would brandy being put in jail..and she doesn't need to be cause she isn't a threat to society.

68. I can't believe you all are falling for this. I am a black woman from Alabama. This "civil rights group" is not the NAACP or any other organization that is nationally recognized. Their name is PROJECT ISLAMIC HOPE, which means they are probably a part of the Nation of Islam. Black and white people know that the Nation of Islam can't be trusted. They want to start these arguments over race. They want and encourage segregation. They want race wars. And you're behaving exactly the way they hoped you would. I very seriously doubt that they are going to cry at night if Brandy get prosecuted because they have managed to get themselves in the spotlight if only for a few minutes.

70. I saw on the news this AM CNN and FOX, that Brandy told police at the scene that the cause of the accident was HER own Fault.... Now how can she be targeted if she admitted openly and several times that she was guilty of causing the accident? These civil rights nut jobs should be thrown in jail for slandering the CHP. Cheap spinless no character morons... MLK would be very very ashamed of all of you at this point.

71. As for comment # 1. I really didn't apreciate it because we as black people have the right to defend our own just as a white person or hispanic or asian. Second I feel that just because Brandy is a celebrety does not mean she should be given any special treatment. She should own up to her mistakes and be a woman about hers. This is not a racial issue it is a human issue. For God's sake a womans life was taken and I don't give a f**k if Brandy was purple she should be responsible for her actions as a person.

75. R U friggin kidding me? Did you see what her car did to those other cars? She caused a fatality! It was her FAULT! She spaced out going 65 mph and KILLED someone. And just last week her entitlement issues got her a ticket for parking wherever she felt like! Of course she should be charged.
