The no fortune is also not true because the man just became part owner of the Tacoma Rainers AAA minor league team for the Mariners.He invested with Nicky Hilton and Wilmer Valderama for a restaurant at the Luxor in Vegas as well. He's got money. As for Jessica, if she doesn't want to committ herself fully to something, then she needs to quit. Quit singing, and performing. There are thousands, millions of people just waiting for their chance to be discovered, they'd gladly take her place.

62. First of all, Jessica CAN sing, at least better than Britney and her little sis. She's pretty, talented, and entertaining, even if it's by saying dumb sh*t, which was typically a performance. She knew she got attention by saying dumb stuff, and she did, so even though all of you are laughing at her, she's laughed her way to the bank because that's what made her a star. I have no problem with Jessica, and I will mantain that until I see her downstairs like >s Spears.

63. Jessica & John Mayer are not doing a duet together! This was untrue & Jessica immediately set the record straight. No duet! So much hatred towards a young girl who no one knows personally. How sad. Whether anyone wants to admit it, Jessica is a very likeable, gorgeous girl, who most people would love to have her voice. You have no idea what her circumstances were & to criticize her so badly is just pathletic! Just because she dumped Nick because she was in such an unhappy marriage & was brave to make the first move she was criticized. Who the hell is Nick? Was he that special? No! He was willing to stay in an unhappy marriage just for the bucks. Jessica in the long run will be much happier!!! And one more thing, I love your music & will see any movie you are in!

68. Good for the bitch. She is a nothing now that she and Papa Joe thought Jess was better than Nick. She is talentless and the only thing that made her a star was Nick.

What a shame that a father would pimp off his daughters for money, and not realize they are talentless. But, I guess he likes the money seeing he was only making $16,000 or $22,000 a year as a minister.

I saw the episode with Jessica screwing up the song and I laughed my ass off. Good for her. She deserves it.

I I watched the Kennedy Honors Tribute, and I noticed that there were an awful lot of known and talented Musicians and Singers that came out and did their part, and they did not mess up the Music or the Words, to the songs that they were performing for the Artist they were Honoring...There is no excuse as many times as Jessica has preformed Live in front of an Audiance to have given a performance like she did! It was a slap in the face to Dolly Parton who is a true professional and a talented singer and songwriter! Jessica and Ashlee both got were they are because preteens, teens and college kids are the major ones that have time to watch the reality shows on MTV and buy CD's! Them to are popular because they had Reality Shows that these kids watched and wanted their things, so parents bought them! When it came to sometime prestigious and talent was showcased she could carry her weight! She isn't a horrible Singer, but she isn't in the calibur of talent that the ones that were on stage are! But the majority of performers that performed have natural God Given Talent, or have worked strickly on being Musicians their entire lives! Jessica and Ashlee or more into being "Celebrities" then they are in doing the hardword and practice that it takes to perform like these performers that were on this show! Everyone thought she had the talent, but Singer with that core group of talent is not really were Jessica's talents llie! If she had not done a Reality Show, and the Simpsons gotten their break with knowing someone high up at MTV, neither Simpson girl would be in the Limelight! They wanted to be Celebrities so their Dad has done everything possible to get them their! I do believe both Jessica and Ashlee or girls that do have some talent, but they are more like a Triple A Ballplayer or a Busch Racecar Driver in being able to perform Live, they are not major performes Live like a Whitney Houston, Celin Deion, or Mariah Carey, Janet Jackson or a Reba McEntire, Shawnia Twain or Dolly Parton. . . Jessica and Ashlee or products of Hollywood with enough talent to get by, but they are more medorica talent then pure talent...Studios, Great Writers and Producers helps these Girls sound great on CD! All their songs are Co-Written with the best Songwriters and Producers that their money or names can afford, so they sound better! You can take anyone that can carry a tune half way, and put them in a studio with talent Producers and Musicians and you can produce a decent CD! Jessica was way out of league, and I blame her Management and Parents for declining to have her sing at such a Prestigious Event as the Kennedy Honors, it was totally disresptful to all involved and especially Dolly Parton, Kelly Clarkson, LeeAnn Rimes, Cheyenne, Kelly Pickler all would have come to reherasal, study the song and practiced in their trailors in between takes at her new movie set! Jessica, has gotten arrogant and felt she didn't need to reherse or learn her lines, and she was fully intimiated after listening and watching all the other exteremly talented people that performed on that stage! Jessica is a great Marketing Person, and she does have more singing ability then me or numerous people, but this Event was not the type of Event for her to shine in and she should feel bad and be embrassed on all accounts for embarassing the President, First Lady all the Government People and all the Recipients that were to be honored for their contributions to the ARTS, Jessica looked foolish, ridiculous and put all in a bad position, if I was her mother I would have been truly embarassed myself for the totally unprofessional performance and the way she exited the Stage! But one thing I noticed with the Simpson group, they would rather sweep mistakes under the rug, and not own up to their mistakes, lack of superior talent...We were at the Football Game between OU and USC, and Ashlee sounded absolutely horrible, but people still have her the benefit of the doubt and she was horrible in person as well...That is why the always want to lipsynch...They can get by in Studio, but in person they just don't have the vocal talent necessary to carry huge crowds by themselves, they are more back up singers to HeadLiners, then being able to Headline themselves...The mistake Jessica made at the Kennedy Awards was not all her fault, but it was very unprofessional and very disrespectful with the way she carried herself and presented herself on stage! I felt sorry for her, her parents but mostly for the people producing the Show and for Dolly Parton...I am so glad that they chose to cut her part out, it was a terriffic, classy show honoring people that have worked extermley hard and brought a lot of talent, hardwork and dedication to their pacific feild in the ARTS...All the performs that they showed on the Stage and the Announcers were exteremly talented, respectful and honorable to the Recipeants, and it was truly a Gala Event with alot of class...My hats go off to the Producers of the Program for keeping the Event in high regards...Hopefully the Producers will learn from this mistake, and make sure that all the performers in the future, come to rehersals know their Lines and can perform to a standard that is meaningful and respectful to the Recipent receiving the Honor of that Musician, Actor of Artist performing that persons memoriable works...

75. Watched The Kennedy Honors. The singers/musicians for Andrew Lloyd Webber & Dolly Parton were all at the top of their game.

No wonder Jessica Simpson ran offstage.

I predict an earlier, rather than later, career death.
