2. Yes he should be applauded for not mud slinging, many non0celeb divorces are unable to to this. But, DUDE! Did she take ALL your money? You look like sit and the first place to start is a spa weekend that focuses on making your skin look of the same decade as the rest of you, removing the huge Louis Vuitton's from under yout eyes and gaining at least 15 pounds.

Then he might be a castable celeb again.

3. Clearly you people don't know what you're talking about. Ethan Hawke CHEATED on Uma Thurman, and bragged about it in papers, talking about how he doesn't think a man can stay with just one woman. The only reason he's recanting and saying this now is because his public image took huge hits after he said that and Uma Thurman said the same quote he did above (about her not trash-talking her child's parent) on an interview last year. Geez, the guy can't even come up with anything original. Uma Thurman can do so much better than this creep.

4. Famous men married to famous women are under a microscope. They can't get away with anything. Ethan Hawke is a cheater, and he realized that being with Uma meant he couldn't get away with his antics.

Now that Ethan and Uma have split, he can do whatever he wants to do. He can cheat on his lovers and not get caught. He doesn't have to answer to anyone, because the public doesn't really care about him anymore. His physical appearance took a really steep nosedive after he and Uma split up.

Any man who wants to cheat does not like being tailed by cameras.

6. What's sad is that Uma Thurman was clearly devastated by what Hawke did. She loved him deeply. They looked so great together and she was clearly happy when they wed. Uma can barely talk about Hawke to this very day. She is still somewhat bitter. She said she tries because of their children. If Hawke ever did utter one negative thing about that woman, she would probably lose her mind and go berserk on him. She'd tell ALL of his secrets, so he knows he needs to keep his mouth shut.

7. I've often wondered why Ethan Hawke began to look so bad after the split. At one point, it seemed like he was having some kind of mental breakdown.

I believe it comes down to one thing: Unrelentless guilt. He had the total love of a beautiful woman and he hurt her. He knows that Uma Thurman did not deserve that. He doesn't have a clean conscience and has not seemed truly happy since that time. He'll probably wish he had her and the family life back when he gets a little older. Shame. He married before he was ready.

9. Obviously Ethan Hawke is remorseful and wants to keep the children protected to a certain extent. He is right for stating what he did. He is also trying to make a comeback so positive publicity helps for him now. In Hollywood they say, "you're only as good as what you've done last".

10. I know Ethan personally. He is a very fine, talented, humble young man. I do not
fully understand what happened. I know he loves Uma and their children.
