226. Tara..had a great opportunity...most young women could only hope for,
she gave it up with her bad behavior, she should be impeached...it
happens in elected offices, pagents, anyone that repressents, an
office, or state..should be treated the same. bad representation of
young women...she knew it before she entered the pagent...but,
decided to break the contract...if the runner up was another race
there would be no conversation here. It has nothing to do with
color...except that the runner up is not of the white race. Good for
her...for being next in line from many young girls...it was meant to
be...karma....Farrah...don't be angry at others, they are rude to
you, but, missy you have been aggressive..in your behavior..not only
on this board, but the others, quit bringing attention to the fact
that Tara is white and won....or how she won, she is a
loser...now...and represents just that....a loser.....Racism
existsNot all whites are racist...not all blacks are racist...and it
doesn't matter who's on welfare...it exists...it's abused...by all
races...I am white...love all cultures and races....I would be racist
in this matter.....that...I would rather live next to a deep south
black family in GA, than a white trash redneck family anyday......my
opinion

I must say as a college educated, professional black woman that I am appalled and ashamed of the things being said here from both Farrah and the people that take the time to say nasty things to her or about her. Sometimes I feel everyone should agree to disagree where there are race issues in place. If we don’t ,we will find ourselves against one another forever. None of us have mentioned knowing Donald Trump personally and it was HIS decision to allow Tara to keep the crown. Maybe HE is racist, or maybe some of Tara’s family has stock in Trump business and he doesn’t want to upset them. There are times, believe it or not, that the powers that be are segregated from the working class. Maybe the division should not be a divider should not be black or white, but green. I personally felt OJ was guilty, I feel that some black people do act ridiculous over things, but then so does some Mexicans, whites, and so on. 233. Why are blacks in this pageant anyway. Don't they have Miss Black America??? It seems that some black people will never be satisfied. If they are treated equally they are pissed because they think they need special treatment because of their past history...if they are treated differently..whites are all racists...

I wonder what would happen if Trump decided to re-name the Miss America Pageant to the Miss Causian America....then black people would really loose their minds.

Better yet, how about a white woman try to compete in the Miss Black America Pageant...like she'd have a shot in hell...yeah right!

Does anyone remember Vanessa Williams when she was reprimanded because of her so call indecency and that was before she got the crown, I guaranteed that if MISS USA was Black her ass would have been kicked to the curb and given to another lame ass white chick, who for sure would be the 1st runner up. 236. Regarding the Miss USA winner: GET OVER IT!!!! Let her keep the crown, she is just an all american girl partying her ass off! She truly exemplifies the american way, "PARTY TILL YOU DROP!", just another average 20 year old trying to have fun and blow off some steam. Typical unless, a) you never were 20; b) you have been living under a rock; c) you never went to college; d) you stay at home polishing your halo!!! But let's be fair, if you don't drink, you don't get it, I understand that, but I am sure you have your vices or faults, so drop your rocks there is a glass house in your way! 238. Hello everyone,

I have read a lot of your comments, and being a black woman from the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, a country that has had a myriad of black female contestants entered and won the Miss Universe Pageant, and belonging to a Historically Black University myself and coming from a family that has gone way past the color line in incorporating both black, east indian, white and hispanic members of whom i have interacted with on a regular basis I have this much to say on the subject - Donald Trump did base his decision on the fact that the second runner up is black.

I am not saying that the fact that Miss Nash is black is the ONLY reason that he based this decision on, but we have a saying among the talented tenth "how can you not look at us and not notice this beautiful color?" you know what I mean. Look at Ms. Nash, isn't she gorgeous, and her black skin only enhances her outer beauty, at least in my opinion. The fact remains that black people cannot look at white and not notice white skin and white persons cannot look at a black person and not notice black skin. And I understand that white persons may live and die and never understand that dynamic. There are some black people who would never understand that either.

I am an MIS major and as a person who hopes to be as big a magnate as Donald Trump one day, I cannot fault Donald Trump on his decision either, but I believe he made the wrong choice anyway. If Tara was out partying as hard as she was then there most likely are a lot of cell phones with camera shots which will sooner or later become exposed publicly and if Ms Conner has no sincerity to back up those crocodile tears of hers then he may end up having to choose second runner up anyway because she would just as likely go back to her hard partying ways any day now. And I believe that after comparing Ms Nash to the last black beauty to win Miss Universe, Miss Wendy Fitzwilliam, I feel she has a really good chance of winning. I am sure that Ms. Conner has as good a chance of winning Miss Universe, but I believe that Ms. Nash would stand just as good a chance of winning, if not a better chance. But hey, those are the breaks, I wish both girls lunk in all their endeavors.
