46. A Confused Bystander, you are 100 percent correct. A public relations student could pull together a better-written release after one week in class. Ellipses are a no-no. There are punctuation, capitalization and style errors galore—a legit news release would be written in Associated Press style. Not to mention a legitimate public relations person should have the self-control to say “this is not newsworthy” and refuse to put crap like this onto the wires.
Not to mention the release forgot to mention what FedEx had for dinner and who paid … that's what is most important here! :P

Putting out a press release to release the story that the press covered a story??? If this is the best you can do, you won't be in the game for long. Don't wear out your welcome with the media by feeding them rubbish like this. You might need them some day to cover an important story (or not cover it as the case may be). Don't pour more water on your already drowning client by pulling stunts like this. BTW-- Just in case you're taking directives from your idiot clients who TELL you to do this??? Here's a hint from a seasoned L.A. PR vet -- grow a pair. Clients come and go, but the media is your bread and butter.

52. I met this guy once a few weeks ago in Vegas Tao, he is pretty cool dude, not stuck up or anything which I found cool. I'm not a gay either,I hope he does make something of himself. The saying "People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones" means approximately, "Don't insult someone who's got the same problems as you do, or else someone else will come along and insult you the same reasons."
