Avril Lavigne: Click to watchAfter a run of angry nights spent spitting on photographers, Avril Lavigne appears to have finally calmed down.

TMZ spotted the wannabe punk-rocker at the newly re-opened Teddy's at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, where she was sporting something we haven't seen in a while - a friendly smile. Stopping to sign some photos for the autograph hounds, Lavigne was unusually kind as she made her way into the club.

Though Avril's hubby Deryck Whibley was nowhere in sight, she arrived with a guy sporting an "I heart trashy people" t-shirt -- looks like he's in the right crowd.

21. I think 'wannabe-punk rocker' is a bit harsh. You are supposed to be neutral as to your opinions of the celebrities you report on. Avril Lavigne has never claimed to be punk, and everyone just labelled her as that and then got pissed when she grew up. All those people who just comment to say 'stupid bitch' or something, surely you have better things to do with your life?
